Dina & Joey met while working for an ATX-based STR hospitality startup in 2018. A few years of intensive on-the-job experience was all it took for these two to take their passion and expertise to the next level. For Dina & Joey, helping others to not only live, but thrive in the homes of their dreams became SO MUCH more fulfilling than simply managing short term rentals. Dijo homes was born shortly after with the intention of unleashing the potential in any residential property. Their two pups, Walter & Kevin, keep them active and make sure all dijo homes are dog tested & dog approved for furry friends near & far!
Joey comes from a food & beverage background with over 8 years of multi-unit management experience. Starting as a cashier and working his way up to a district manager, operational efficiencies and team building became the backbone of his management style. After helping multiple franchises and franchisees structure and maximize their earning potentials and efficiencies, Joey took his knowledge and love for operations into the hospitality world. Joining an early aged short term rental hospitality startup and quickly helping them scale to over 200+ locations in multiple markets. Joey was responsible for designing, procuring and executing moves remotely and in the field among all the other hats worn in a typical startup. While helping this startup scale, a love for peer to peer economics formed and Joey completed over 500 reservations between home, car and even boat sharing through several different P2P marketplaces.
Dina comes from a healthy mix of food & beverage as well as the hospitality industry. After effectively accomplishing her restaurant dreams, Dina joined a short term rental hospitality start up as a field operations associate and quickly was tasked with creating SOP's and hiring out multiple teams from the ground up whose responsibility was day to day management and upkeep of the companies 200+ units. While managing multiple remote and local operational teams, Dina also handed all guest service, housekeeping management, marketing and P&L's for her local market of 75+ units.
